Better!!! The cops used to harrass me b/c I was black - now they harrass b/c I'm a black guy in a Benz!

Juneteenth Weekend Question: What are your thoughts about the state of being Black in America? Have things gotten better or worse?

 I think the younger generation dont appreciate the history. its not
taught in the home and not examined enough in the schools. they think
that its been like 'this' forever, eventhough for them it has. not
enough reading going on.

WHAT IS FAMILY AFFAIR?

What does it means to be black in America today? In my new book, "Family Affair: What it Means to Be African American Today," that questions is examined. Through personal stories and essays, Family Affair cleaves through the physical, social, political and historical characteristics that have come to define the African-American community in the 21st century.
